The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2003 by Givenchy, Amarige D'Amour is a chypre floral fragrance created by perfumers Bertrand Duchaufour and Emilie Coppermann. It opens with the brightness of black currant and sweet pea before settling into a heart of rose hip, white mimosa, and lily-of-the-valley. The base notes of sandalwood and ambergris add warmth and depth, creating a composition that balances freshness with sensuality. This fragrance embodies Givenchy's distinctive blend of French elegance and American glamour, making it a standout in the house’s portfolio.
Apply this fragrance sparingly — the initial burst of black currant and sweet pea fades quickly. The heart notes emerge within an hour, so one or two sprays to the pulse points is sufficient for lasting warmth and depth throughout the day.
