The story behind the bottle.
Desobeissant, launched in 2025 by Givenchy and crafted by Fabrice Pellegrin, is a fragrance that embodies a rebellious spirit with a vibrant overdose of freshness. The composition opens with the zesty brightness of Citron Essence, which contrasts beautifully with the spicy effrontery of Cardamom Essence. This bold duo is enriched with the dark power of Black Tea Extract from the mountains of Sri Lanka, adding depth and complexity. In this contrasting ballet, Pine Essence vibrates with its aromatic and woody accords, while Cedar Essence unfolds with soft and vibrant accents.
Apply this fragrance in layers for maximum impact. Start with one spray to let the zesty top notes shine, then add another after an hour as the woody base begins to emerge. The aromatic pine and cedar provide a lasting warmth that complements the initial freshness.
