The story behind the bottle.
Gentleman Cologne by Givenchy was launched in 2019, crafted by Nathalie Lorson and Olivier Cresp. This fragrance opens with a bright citrus-aromatic accord of bergamot and lemon, giving way to the fresh spiciness of rosemary. The heart of iris adds a touch of sophistication before settling into a base of vetiver, musk, and ambroxan that reads as earthy and powdery, creating an overall sense of modern elegance.
Apply two sprays to ensure that the citrus top notes are balanced by the deeper base. The fragrance blooms over an hour, so it's best to layer lightly for daytime wear.
