The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Launched in 2008 by Guerlain and created by perfumers Christine Nagel and Sylvaine Delacourte, Elixir Charnel Oriental Brulant is a richly layered oriental fragrance for women. The composition opens with the zesty freshness of tangerine, which gives way to the nutty sweetness of almond in the heart. At its core, styrax adds a balsamic warmth, while tonka bean and vanilla provide an enveloping sweetness that lingers on the skin. This fragrance embodies Guerlain's tradition of using luxurious materials, blending them into a warm embrace.

How to wear it

Apply Elixir Charnel Oriental Brulant to pulse points for maximum longevity. The tangerine top note fades quickly, so focus on areas like your wrists and neck where the warm base notes will have time to develop. This fragrance is best suited for evening wear or cooler weather when its rich warmth can fully unfold.
