Launched in 2019 by Guerlain, La Petite Robe Noire Velours is a Floral Fruity fragrance created by perfumers Thierry Wasser and Delphine Jelk. This composition opens with sour cherry and mandarin orange, bringing a bright and juicy freshness that contrasts beautifully against the rich and velvety base notes of tonka bean and patchouli. The heart of violet and rose adds a touch of floral sweetness that softens the overall profile without overpowering it.
Apply this fragrance in light layers for the best effect — the sour cherry and mandarin top notes are bright but fleeting. Allow it time to develop on your skin; the rich tonka bean base emerges after an hour and carries the scent through the day.
