Launched in 2012 by Guerlain and crafted by Thierry Wasser, La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Toilette captures the essence of a Parisian moment. The composition opens with sour cherry and green notes, creating an invigorating freshness that contrasts beautifully with the warm, nutty base of white amber and patchouli. This interplay between crisp fruitiness and rich warmth makes it feel like stepping into a sunlit boutique where fresh berries mingle with soft florals.
One or two sprays are enough to capture this fragrance's balanced character. The sour cherry and green notes are particularly bright, so they fade within an hour, but the base notes linger longer. This one reads best close to skin rather than across a room.
