The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1919 by Jacques Guerlain for the legendary French house of Guerlain, Mitsouko Eau de Parfum is a chypre fruity fragrance that has stood as an enduring classic. The composition opens with bright citruses and bergamot, which quickly give way to a heart of jasmine, rose, and ylang-ylang. As the scent evolves, warm spices like cinnamon and oakmoss mingle with earthy vetiver and patchouli, creating a rich blend that is both spicy and woody. The base notes of amber bring a balsamic warmth that adds depth and longevity to this lasting fragrance.
Given its long-lasting nature and strong sillage, one to two sprays on pulse points is sufficient. Allow it a few minutes to develop before layering with other scents or applying additional product. Mitsouko works best in cooler environments where the spicy warmth can be fully appreciated.

Jacques Guerlain
The poet of the golden ageJacques Guerlain is one of the greatest perfumers who ever lived — the man who gave the world Shalimar, Mitsouko, L'Heure Bleue, and Vol de Nuit. As the third-generation perfumer of the House of Guerlain, he elevated the family craft into high art.
“Perfumery? It is a matter of patience.”
