The story behind the bottle.
Oud Sensuel by Guerlain was launched in 2007, crafted by perfumers Randa Hammami and Sylvaine Delacourte. This fragrance is a Woody composition that opens with cardamom and neroli, creating an aromatic freshness that transitions into the heart of agarwood (oud), geranium, and iris. The base notes of tonka bean and Virginia cedar add warmth and depth, making it a rich and enveloping scent. Oud Sensuel captures the essence of Guerlain’s tradition of using luxurious materials while embracing modernity.
Oud Sensuel has a slow development on skin, so it’s best to apply two sprays and let it settle for about an hour. The warm base notes take time to fully bloom, making this fragrance ideal for evening wear when you want a rich, enveloping scent.
