HeartThe Soul
The story behind the bottle.
Rue de la Paix, launched by Guerlain in 1908 and crafted by Jacques Guerlain, is an iconic Floral Aldehyde fragrance that epitomizes the brand's commitment to luxury and innovation. It opens with a vibrant blend of lavender and bergamot, which gives way to a heart of rose, jasmine, and ylang-ylang. The base notes of amber, woody elements, and musk create a warm and enveloping finish. This fragrance was one of the early examples where aldehydes were used, adding a fresh spicy twist that sets it apart from its contemporaries.
Apply Rue de la Paix to pulse points for a subtle yet lasting effect. The aldehydic top notes are bright but fleeting, so layering it over a moisturizer can help extend its warmth throughout the day.
