The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2014 by Houbigant, Iris des Champs is a fragrance that embodies the essence of powdery elegance and subtle floral depth. Perfumer Mathieu Nardin crafted this Oriental Floral scent with a focus on iris, creating an intricate composition that opens with bright notes of lily-of-the-valley and bergamot before transitioning to a heart of rose and jasmine. The base is anchored by woody and musky accords, along with sandalwood and vanilla, providing warmth and longevity.
Apply this fragrance in light layers, allowing it to develop gradually on the skin. The iris and woody notes will bloom over time, making it better suited for daytime wear when its warmth can be appreciated without overpowering.
