Mon Boudoir by Houbigant was launched in 1919, designed by Robert Bienaimé to evoke the intimate charm of a private chamber. The composition opens with rose and violet, creating an initial floral warmth that soon gives way to deeper notes of amber and leather, punctuated by the earthy presence of patchouli and balsamic accords. This fragrance is neither overtly sweet nor heavy; instead, it balances delicate florals with rich, woody undertones that speak of a sophisticated femininity.
Apply Mon Boudoir close to pulse points for a more intimate experience. The balsamic and amber notes take time to develop, so it’s best not to layer heavily; two sprays on each wrist will suffice.
