The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2009 and crafted by perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, L'Eau d'Issey Ettore Sottsass Edition is a Floral Aquatic fragrance that embodies the innovative spirit of Issey Miyake. The composition begins with the freshness of rose water and melon, leading into a heart of lotus, cyclamen, freesia, lily-of-the-valley, and carnation, all anchored by an exotic wood base with notes of amber, sandalwood, and musk. This fragrance captures the essence of Issey Miyake's design philosophy: blending modernity with natural elements to create something both innovative and lasting.
This fragrance blooms best close to skin, so apply directly on pulse points for a lingering effect. The fresh top notes fade quickly, but the heart of florals and warm base notes will last throughout the day.
