Launched in 2021, Nuit d'Issey Bois Arctic by Issey Miyake is a Woody Aromatic fragrance that marries fresh and spicy notes with the warmth of vanilla and tobacco. Dominique Ropion and Fanny Bal crafted this composition around grapefruit and pink pepper for an invigorating opening, which transitions into a heart of basil, black pepper, and geranium. The base note of vanilla, tobacco, and tonka bean adds depth and comfort, creating a scent that feels both refreshing and grounded.
For a balanced experience, apply two sprays — the fresh and spicy top notes are quick to fade within an hour but leave room for the warm base notes to linger. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than in a wide sillage.
