Launched in 2015 and crafted by perfumer Loc Dong, Nuit d'Issey Austral Expedition by Issey Miyake is a Woody Spicy fragrance that captures the essence of adventure and exploration. The composition opens with a bright citrus-aromatic accord featuring lime, coriander, grapefruit, lemon, and mint, creating an invigorating freshness. This initial burst of energy gives way to the heart notes of gentiana, lavender, and geranium, which add layers of floral complexity and green freshness. The base notes of leather, vetiver, coumarin, and amberwood anchor the fragrance with earthy warmth and a subtle spiciness.
