The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2013, Manifesto l'Elixir by Yves Saint Laurent is an Oriental Floral fragrance created by perfumers Anne Flipo and Loc Dong. The composition opens with a bright citrus bouquet of bergamot and mandarin orange before transitioning into the rich, powdery heart notes of heliotrope and jasmine sambac. This floral warmth is further enhanced by the lush presence of tuberose, which adds an opulent depth to the fragrance. As it settles, the base of vanilla, cashmere wood, and ambroxan offers a comforting, musky finish that feels both intimate and enduring.
Apply Manifesto l'Elixir in moderation — one to two sprays are enough. The fragrance blooms over time, so it's best to let it settle close to your skin rather than projecting across a room. It pairs particularly well for evening wear, where its warmth and depth can truly shine.
