The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2021, Scandal Xmas Limited Edition by Jean Paul Gaultier is a Chypre Floral fragrance created by perfumers Christophe Raynaud, Daphné Bugey, and Fabrice Pellegrin. This composition opens with the bright zest of blood orange and mandarin, giving way to a rich heart of honey, jasmine, peach, gardenia, and orange blossom. The base notes of beeswax, caramel, patchouli, and licorice create a warm, sweet, and slightly animalic finish that lingers on the skin.
Apply this fragrance to pulse points for warmth and longevity. The sweet top notes dissipate quickly, but the honey and beeswax base will bloom over time, so a heavier application in the beginning is recommended.
