Launched in 2024 by Jo Malone London and crafted by perfumers Anne Flipo and Céline Roux, Hinoki & Cedarwood is a fragrance that captures the essence of Japanese forest bathing. The scent opens with fresh spicy notes that evoke the crisp air of the Japanese wilderness before transitioning into a woody heart that is grounded and serene. A powdery base adds warmth and depth, creating a balanced composition that feels both invigorating and calming.
