The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2016 by Jo Malone London and crafted by perfumer Anne Flipo, Sorrel & Lemon Thyme is a refreshing aromatic green fragrance that captures the essence of crisp, fresh herbs and citrus. The composition opens with zesty lemon and petitgrain, which provide a bright and invigorating start. As it evolves, rosemary and thyme add a subtle herbal warmth, while rumex (sorrel) introduces an unexpected earthy note. This blend is anchored by woody moss and geranium, creating a harmonious balance between freshness and depth.
For optimal wear, apply two sprays to pulse points. The zesty top notes are bright but fleeting, so layering it with the woody base can enhance its longevity. This fragrance is best suited for daytime or mild weather when you want a fresh, invigorating scent.
