Launched in 1998 and crafted by perfumer Olivier Cresp, Kenzo Jungle Homme is a Woody Spicy fragrance that weaves together bright citrus notes with warm spices and earthy woods. The composition opens with the sharp clarity of lime, bergamot, lemon, and mate, before diving into a heart of nutmeg, cardamom, and pepper. These vibrant elements create a dynamic tension against the rich base of amber, guaiac wood, sandalwood, cedar, benzoin, and vetiver, resulting in a scent that is both energetic and grounding.
This fragrance blooms best when given time to settle on the skin. A light spritz allows the citrus top notes to shine initially, while the warm spice and woody base emerge after an hour or so. It’s better suited for cooler evenings when the spicy warmth can be fully appreciated.
