Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2002 by L'Artisan Parfumeur and crafted by perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour, Piment Brulant is a warm spicy fragrance that balances the heat of its namesake chili pepper with notes of cacao and floral sweetness. The composition opens with a sharp burst of spiciness before transitioning into a rich and comforting cocoa base, underscored by soft florals that add an unexpected layer of elegance to the overall warmth.
Piment Brulant's spicy top notes are quite potent, so use it sparingly — one to two sprays is enough. The fragrance settles into its warm cocoa base within an hour, making it perfect for cooler evenings or layering under a jacket in the daytime.
