The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2018 by Lancôme, La Vie est Belle avec Toi is a Floral Fruity Gourmand fragrance created by Olivier Polge, Dominique Ropion, and Anne Flipo. The composition opens with the bright burst of cassis and pear, leading to a heart of orange blossom, jasmine, and iris that reads as an ode to floral sweetness. The base notes of patchouli, praline, vanilla, and tonka bean anchor it in warm earthiness and gourmand comfort. This fragrance is neither overtly sweet nor heavy; instead, it balances the freshness of its fruity top with the richness of its warm spiciness and balsamic depth.
Apply one or two sprays on pulse points — this fragrance blooms slowly, with its gourmand base notes gradually coming to life over an hour. It reads best close to skin rather than projecting across a room.
