The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2022 by Lancôme and designed by Richard Orlinski, La Vie Est Belle Limited Edition is a Floral Fruity Gourmand fragrance that balances the sweetness of praline and vanilla with earthy patchouli and warm spices. Created by Anne Flipo, Olivier Polge, and Dominique Ropion, this composition opens with black currant and pear, leading to a heart of iris, jasmine, and orange blossom before settling into a base of tonka bean and vanilla that reads as comforting warmth.
Apply this fragrance lightly — the sweet top notes are vibrant but fleeting. The base notes of vanilla and tonka bean emerge after about an hour and provide a lasting warmth that feels close to skin rather than filling a room.
