Aoud 2 by M. Micallef, launched in 2010 and crafted by Jean-Claude Astier, is a bold Oriental Woody fragrance that embodies the essence of rugged sophistication. The composition opens with a fresh spicy accord, giving way to a rich leather heart before settling into an animalic and smoky base. This contrast creates a complex olfactory experience, where the sharpness of the spices tempers the warmth of the woods and the depth of the leathers.
This fragrance has a strong presence, so one to two sprays is sufficient. The spicy top notes are fleeting, but they set the stage for the deeper leathery and woody tones that develop over time. Best suited for evenings or cooler weather when you want an olfactory statement.
