Les 4 Saisons: Hiver by M. Micallef, launched in 2003 and crafted by Jean-Claude Astier, captures the essence of a winter day with its blend of citrus brightness and warm spices. The fragrance opens with the zesty freshness of orange, neroli, and Amalfi lemon before transitioning into a heart of ylang-ylang, jasmine, and almond that adds a delicate sweetness. The base notes of sandalwood, vanilla, musk, and Virginia cedar create a cozy warmth reminiscent of winter evenings spent indoors.
Apply this fragrance in moderation; the zesty top notes are bright but fleeting. Allow it to settle for about an hour before reapplying if needed, as the sweet and woody base notes develop gradually and provide long-lasting warmth.
