The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2018 by Rabanne, Black XS 2018 is a composition that oscillates between bright citrus and warm spicy notes. Perfumers Olivier Cresp and Rosendo Mateu crafted an oriental woody fragrance with a striking contrast: the sharpness of lemon and sage against the richness of praline and cinnamon. The heart of marigold and tolu balsam adds depth, while the base notes of black amber and palisander rosewood create a lasting warmth.
This fragrance projects well from its aromatic top notes but has a rich base that unfolds over time. Apply two sprays to let the initial citrus and spices meld with the deeper woody and amber tones as the day progresses.
