The story behind the bottle.
Fracas by Robert Piguet was launched in 1948 and is a Floral fragrance for women, created by Germaine Cellier. This composition opens with bright citrus notes like mandarin orange and bergamot, which give way to the lush, heady presence of tuberose. The heart features a bouquet of white flowers including jasmine, gardenia, and lily-of-the-valley, while the base is anchored by woody and powdery accords that add warmth and depth. Fracas is often praised for its iconic use of tuberose, which sets it apart as one of the most celebrated fragrances in perfumery history.
Apply Fracas sparingly to allow the complex layers to unfold gradually. The tuberose is particularly potent, so one or two sprays are enough to make a lasting impression throughout the day.
