Roja Dove launched Pierre de Velay No. 23 in 2019, crafting an intricate composition that blends aldehydes with rich, earthy notes to create a complex olfactory experience. The fragrance opens with the freshness of bergamot and mandarin orange, gradually giving way to the warmth of ylang-ylang and jasmine. At its core, Pierre de Velay No. 23 is an amalgamation of white florals, powdery musks, and animalic notes like ambergris and civet, creating a scent that feels both refined and slightly wild.
Apply one or two sprays to pulse points for a balanced experience. The aldehydic top notes are bright but short-lived, so let it settle before leaving — the base notes will emerge more clearly after about an hour.
