Roja Dove launched Semi-Bespoke No. 1 in 2005, a fragrance that seamlessly blends the crisp freshness of citrus with rich woody and amber undertones. The composition opens with aldehydes and bright citrus notes like bergamot, orange, and lemon, creating an immediate sense of brightness and clarity. As these top notes recede, ylang-ylang and rose take center stage, adding a lush floral complexity. This is further anchored by the warm embrace of sandalwood, jasmine, patchouli, vetiver, oakmoss, orris root, amber, myrrh, green notes, and musk, resulting in a fragrance that feels both familiar and distinctive.
Apply this fragrance in light layers — it has a strong opening burst but settles into a deeper warmth over time. The aldehydic top notes fade within an hour, making Semi-Bespoke No. 1 ideal for daytime wear where you want a fresh start that evolves into something more complex.
