The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Launched in 1991, Angelique by Shiseido is an Oriental Floral fragrance that draws on the brand's legacy of blending traditional elegance with modern sophistication. The composition opens with a bright and fruity bouquet of peach, plum, and grapefruit, which gives way to a lush heart of tuberose, ylang-ylang, jasmine, and orchid. This floral richness is then enveloped by warm notes of vanilla, tonka bean, amber, benzoin, cedar, and sandalwood, creating an overall effect that feels both intimate and lasting.

How to wear it

Apply Angelique to your pulse points for an intimate warmth that lasts. The fruity top notes are fleeting, so focus on the heart and base notes by layering it over moisturizer. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than from a distance.
