The story behind the bottle.
Jean-Claude Ellena's Rose Poivree by The Different Company was launched in 2000 as a Floral fragrance for both women and men. The composition is built around the tension between rose and spices, with coriander and black pepper providing an aromatic contrast to the soft floral heart. Vetiver adds a grounding earthiness, while civet introduces an animalic undertone that enriches the overall complexity. This blend of notes creates a fragrance that is both fresh and warm, making it versatile for various occasions.
For best results, apply Rose Poivree to pulse points and let it develop on your skin for about an hour before reapplying if needed. The spicy notes fade quickly but leave a warm, musky trail that lasts throughout the day.
