Black Lacquer by Tom Ford, launched in 2024 and crafted by perfumer Guillaume Flavigny, is a bold and enigmatic Oriental Woody fragrance. The composition opens with the sharp contrasts of ink and vinyl, creating an immediate sense of modernity and sophistication. As it evolves, black pepper and rum introduce a fresh spicy warmth that cuts through the air like a crisp autumn breeze. The heart notes of elemi and olibanum add a resinous depth, while peony and apricot soften the edges with a touch of floral sweetness.
