The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2021, Ébène Fumé by Tom Ford is an Oriental Woody fragrance that combines smoky incense with rich balsamic notes and warm spices. The composition opens with the earthy aroma of Palo Santo and black pepper, creating a contrast between freshness and warmth. As it develops, violet leaf and leather add depth, while labdanum and cade oil lend a resinous, almost animalic character that lingers on the skin.
Apply two sprays to pulse points for a balanced presence. The smoky top notes are vibrant but brief, so allow time for the balsamic and spicy heart to develop before heading out.
