Launched in 2017, Oud Wood Intense by Tom Ford is a bold interpretation of the oud genre, designed to be both fresh and intense. Perfumer Antoine Lie crafts a composition that opens with a burst of aromatic freshness, grounded by the smoky, leathery warmth of oud. The heart notes add complexity with a touch of spiciness, while the base layers in musky and amber accords for depth and longevity.
Apply two sprays initially; the fresh aromatic top notes will fade within an hour but the smoky oud and musky base will linger for hours. This fragrance works well in cooler environments or during evening wear as it reads better close to skin.
