The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1998 by Valentino and crafted by perfumer Daniela Andrier, Very Valentino Eau Toilette is a sophisticated oriental fragrance that balances freshness with warmth. The composition opens with the bright zest of tangerine and bergamot, alongside the herbal note of rosemary, creating an aromatic contrast to the rich heart notes of magnolia, jasmine, and lily-of-the-valley. As it settles, the scent reveals a powdery musk base complemented by sandalwood and amber, grounding the composition with its woody depth.
One or two sprays is sufficient — the aromatic top notes are vibrant but fleeting. As it develops on skin over an hour, the warm musky base becomes more apparent. This fragrance pairs well with daytime wear for a subtle yet confident scent.
