The story behind the bottle.
Rose Velours by Van Cleef & Arpels, launched in 2013 and crafted by perfumer Antoine Maisondieu, is a floral fragrance that captures the essence of velvety rose petals. The composition opens with a bright bergamot and ozonic notes, creating an initial freshness before diving into the heart of lush roses, honey, and iris. This floral bouquet is enveloped in a warm amber base with benzoin and ambroxan, adding depth and sensuality to the scent.
Apply this fragrance to pulse points for a gentle warmth that lasts throughout the day. The ozonic top notes dissipate within an hour, but the floral heart and warm base linger longer, making it perfect for daytime wear.
