The story behind the bottle.
Great Lord by Vilhelm Parfumerie was launched in 2025 and crafted by perfumer Jérôme Epinette, offering an Oriental Woody scent that is both warm and complex. The fragrance opens with the bright zest of Italian Mandarin and Cardamom, providing a vibrant contrast to the deeper notes of Plum and Oakmoss. Immortelle and Chinese Osmanthus add layers of sweetness and floral warmth, while Leather and Patchouli create an earthy, mossy foundation that is both grounding and sophisticated.
Great Lord’s rich accords take time to develop fully on the skin. Apply two sprays to allow the top notes to settle before revealing the deeper layers. This fragrance is best suited for evening wear when its warm, spicy character can be fully appreciated.
