Exquisite Embroidery by Yves Saint Laurent is a composition that weaves together the intricate threads of rose and oud with a subtle spiciness from nutmeg and ginger. Launched in 2017, it was crafted by perfumer Hamid Merati-Kashani to create an Oriental Floral fragrance for both women and men. The scent opens with a vibrant freshness, thanks to its spicy notes, before transitioning into the heart where rose and patchouli add depth and warmth. This is further grounded by the rich, earthy tones of ambergris and agarwood (oud), providing a foundation that is both sensual and sophisticated.
Apply one or two sprays to the pulse points for a balanced experience. The spicy top notes are bright but fleeting, so wait a few minutes before reapplying if you want more warmth from the base notes. This fragrance is best suited for evening wear when its rich and earthy tones can fully unfold.
