Launched in 1998 and crafted by Pierre Bourdon, Live Jazz by Yves Saint Laurent is an aromatic fougère that encapsulates the vibrant energy of a live jazz performance. The fragrance opens with a bright burst of mint, grapefruit, and lemon, evoking the crisp freshness of a cool night. As it evolves, coriander and rhubarb bring a subtle spiciness to the mix, while amber, cedar, nutmeg, and vanilla create a warm and enveloping base that lingers like a smoky afterglow.
For best effect, apply Live Jazz to pulse points and let it settle for five minutes before going out. The top notes are particularly fresh and can dissipate quickly, so a second light spritz after an hour will keep the initial burst alive.
