Opium Rouge Fatal Collector's Edition (2015) by Yves Saint Laurent is an Oriental Spicy fragrance for women that marries the zesty freshness of citrus with the enveloping warmth of spices and amber. The composition opens with mandarin orange and bergamot, which gives way to a heart filled with lily-of-the-valley, myrrh, clove, carnation, and jasmine. This floral bouquet is then anchored by the earthy notes of patchouli, vanilla, amber, and vetiver, creating an aroma that is both spicy and comforting.
This fragrance has a strong opening that fades within an hour. Two sprays are sufficient as the base notes develop gradually over time. It’s best for daytime wear when you want a scent that evolves throughout the day.
