The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2018 by Givenchy and crafted by perfumer François Demachy, Dahlia Divin Eau Initiale is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance that blends crisp citrus with delicate florals. The composition opens with blood orange and bergamot, creating a fresh and vibrant top note that transitions into the heart of magnolia, lotus, jasmine, and rose. These floral notes are then grounded by musk and sandalwood in the base, resulting in an elegant and balanced scent that is both modern and lasting.
Given its fresh opening notes, this fragrance is best applied in light layers. The citrus top notes are bright but fleeting, so it’s ideal for daytime wear or early evening events. For lasting warmth, allow it to settle on your skin for a few minutes before heading out.
