The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2013 by Givenchy and crafted by perfumer François Demachy, Dahlia Noir Le Bal Eau de Toilette is a Floral fragrance for women that embodies the idea of an imaginary black dahlia. The composition opens with a bright citrus note before settling into a heart of rose, which reads as airy yet intense. Soft spicy notes like pink pepper add warmth to the mix, while vanilla and musk provide a comforting base. This fragrance is a modern interpretation of Givenchy's signature blend of French elegance and subtle sophistication.
Given the airy nature of its rose heart, Dahlia Noir Le Bal EDT reads better close to skin than across a room. One or two sprays on pulse points are sufficient — it blooms gradually over time without needing excessive application. Ideal for daytime wear where a subtle floral presence is desired.
