Launched in 2011, Very Irresistible Givenchy L'Intense by Dominique Ropion is an evolution of the original, pushing it into darker and more edgy territory. The fragrance opens with a burst of plum, its sweet and slightly tart character setting a vibrant tone that quickly transitions to the floral heart of Turkish rose. This creates a tension between sweetness and depth, where the warm patchouli base adds earthy undertones that contrast beautifully with the musky finish. It’s a composition that marries tenderness with strength, making it feel both intimate and powerful.
This fragrance has long-lasting power, so a single spray will do. The plum note fades quickly, but the musky base lingers for hours. It’s best worn in cooler temperatures when its warm spicy notes are most noticeable.
