Launched in 1872 by Guerlain, Cuir de Russie was crafted by Aimé Guerlain and is a Leather fragrance for both women and men. The composition features an aromatic opening with lavender, rosemary, and thyme that leads into the heart of iris and benzoin, before settling into a musky, earthy base anchored by oakmoss and vetiver. This fragrance embodies the opulent and rare materials Guerlain is known for, blending traditional leather notes with rich resins and powdery accords.
