Launched in 2016 by Guerlain and crafted by perfumer Thierry Wasser, Habit Rouge Dress Code 2016 is a sophisticated Oriental Woody fragrance. The composition opens with bright citrus notes of bergamot and neroli, giving way to the warmth of praline and spices. At its heart lies a rich blend of rose and leather, while the base offers an animalic depth with woody notes and tonka bean, creating a complex and intriguing scent that evolves throughout the day.
This fragrance develops best with time, so apply it in layers to allow each note to unfold. The praline and spicy top notes fade quickly, but the base notes build up over several hours. It is ideal for cooler evenings or indoor settings where its warmth can be fully appreciated.
