Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Jean-Paul Guerlain crafted L'Âme d'Un Héros as a tribute to the bold and adventurous spirit of its wearer. This Citrus Aromatic fragrance opens with a vibrant burst of bergamot, lemon, and neroli, creating an invigorating freshness that is immediately noticeable. As it develops, the composition reveals a complex interplay between sage, pepper, juniper berries, and ylang-ylang, adding layers of earthy warmth and herbal complexity. The base notes of vetiver, patchouli, and benzoin anchor the scent with rich, woody depth.
Apply this fragrance to pulse points, as it projects well. Allow it to develop over time; the initial burst of freshness gives way to deeper notes within about an hour. It is best suited for daytime wear when its vibrant character can shine.
