Quand Vient La Pluie, launched by Guerlain in 2007 and crafted by perfumers Sylvaine Delacourte and Thierry Wasser, is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance that captures the essence of a fresh start. The composition opens with bright citrus notes from bergamot and orange blossom, creating an immediate sense of clarity and freshness. As it evolves, the scent transitions into a heart of violet, jasmine, and heliotrope, adding layers of sweetness and floral complexity. The base notes of praline, musk, patchouli, and amber create a warm, enveloping finish that feels both comforting and sophisticated.
This fragrance blooms best after an hour; a light spritz on pulse points allows the full depth to develop. It reads better in cooler settings where its warmth can shine through without overpowering.
