Launched by Guerlain in 2001 and crafted by Jean-Paul Guerlain, Samsara Shine is a Floral Green fragrance that marries the freshness of green notes with the warmth of vanilla and amber. The opening features fig leaf and citruses, creating an immediate sense of crispness and vitality. This fresh start transitions into a heart of ylang-ylang and jasmine, adding a layer of floral sweetness. The base notes of sandalwood, vanilla, tonka bean, and amber bring a comforting warmth that lingers on the skin.
Samsara Shine is best applied to pulse points for optimal longevity. The green top notes are bright but fleeting, so allow it to settle before heading out. It pairs well with a light jacket or cardigan in cooler weather, where the warmth of its base notes shines through.
