Launched in 2004 and crafted by perfumer Mathilde Laurent, Shalimar Eau Légère is an Oriental Floral fragrance from the legendary French house of Guerlain. This composition opens with a burst of citrus and green notes before transitioning to the soft florality of rose de mai and jasmine. The warmth of vanilla and powdery notes adds depth and comfort, making it a modern yet lasting interpretation of classic oriental florals.
This fragrance blooms slowly on the skin, so applying it an hour before your intended wear allows the full complexity to emerge. It reads better close to the skin rather than diffusing through a room.
