Shalimar Souffle de Parfum 2016 by Guerlain, launched in 2016 and crafted by Thierry Wasser, is a blend of classic elegance and modern innovation. The composition opens with bright citrus notes from lemon, mandarin orange, and bergamot, creating an immediate freshness that feels both crisp and inviting. As it develops, the fragrance reveals its heart with jasmine sambac and orange blossom, adding layers of delicate floral sweetness. At its core, Indian and Tahitian vanilla intertwine with white musk to create a warm, enveloping base that is both powdery and sweet.
Apply this fragrance in light layers for best effect. The citrus top notes are bright and fleeting, so it’s important to let the warmer base of vanilla and musk take center stage after an hour. It pairs well with cooler evenings but can also add a touch of warmth on milder days.
