Launched in 2017 by Thierry Wasser, Shalimar Souffle de Parfum 2017 by Guerlain is a parfum that embodies the brand's legacy of using luxurious and rare materials. The composition opens with bright citrus notes from lemon, bergamot, and mandarin orange before transitioning to a heart of orange blossom and jasmine, creating an effervescent floral bouquet. This is further enriched by Indian vanilla and Tahitian vanilla, which add depth and warmth, while white musk provides a powdery, sweet finish that lingers on the skin.
Apply this fragrance with two sprays to ensure that the initial citrus top notes have enough time to unfold before giving way to the heart and base. The powdery musk will bloom over an hour, providing a long-lasting warmth that reads best close to skin.
